hi! i'm coyote, also known as yote. it's pronounced yoh-tea, but you can pronounce it anyway you wish! i do not mind. i also go by the name songdog! you can really call me anything.
as a 1999 kid, i've been deeply intertwined with furry ever since the early 2000s. even now, i am continually inspired by the magic of self expression though breaking through your own humanity. i am a full-time artist, meaning i draw and create avatars from 9AM to 5PM.i love going to conventions! though, i don't vend at them, nor do i plan to, surprisingly! they're my vacation/break time, and usually give me a big burst of inspiration to keep creating! ❤i love spirituality and metaphysics, and i've been in the alterhuman community about the same amount of time i have furry! i am a coyote and avian therian, i am also fictionkin as well.i live a very simple life in virginia, USA - and share a home with my therapy companion pigeon, Mabel, and our german shepherd dog, Sunny.when i'm not drawing or making avatars i spend a lot of time in VR with my friends, or meditating & birdwatching in the wild. i also love leaving graffiti and urban exploration.my art is heavily influenced by my work with animals throughout my life, as well as visits to my family on the west coast - specifically the sonora desert and southern california.if you'd like to follow my personal account where i yap more about my life and interests, it's songdog.pet on bluesky! 🦋

by commissioning me, you are agreeing to these terms. as always, thank you so much for your interest either way!
ORDERING AND PAYMENT
you must be 18 years or older to order.payment through paypal is preferred upfront, and ideally provided within 10-24 hours. if you do not complete your invoice by a week, it will be cancelled. i will not begin work unless payment has officially been sent.i will happily accept payment plans if your commission is more than 200$ USD!
ARTWORK ETIQUITTE
FIRST AND FOREMOST, i have the right to refuse service to any customer, for any reason, that means whether or not i want to work with you. setting boundaries is very important, and it is up to me whether or not I continue or accept a commission.my commissions are fairly artistic-liberty, while i am happy to provide a handful of changes free of charge, if it goes beyond 10 changes, you may be charged.progress is done through confirmation, so when i send a work in progress, please let me know if there is anything you'd like changed! for example, if i send a sketch WIP, i might not be able to change your request past the inking phase.if for whatever reason I have to cancel your commission, I will initiate a partial or full refund depending on how much progress has been made on your project.
AVATAR ETIQUITTE
if commissioning an avatar, you must own the base provided to be textured. please send me proof of ownership when commissioning an avatar!prior knowledge of unity is appreciated but not necessary. i am happy to upload your avatar for you if you need it.there are certain bases i don't mesh well with, but i would be happy to reccomend one if i am unable to work on the base requested.i do not do mesh edits!if you want an avatar uploaded to your account, your VRChat account must be verified and it will add a 25$ upload fee (which will be refunded if any problems come up with a unityproject.)
OTHER INFORMATION
my turnarounds are fairly fast, but i will always notify you (or my telegram announcement channel) if anything changes that may result in commissions being delayed.
i am disabled and chronically ill, so please be gentle! i promise to bring your idea to life, in time!
